Greetings Icarus fans. It gives me great pleasure to announce that the latest version of The Icarus Project is now available for download!

This new version; V 0.1.0, offers a much more polished and complete Alpha experience.

We have gone through the rules and addressed the issues of the previous version, as well as giving it a facelift with new layout, pictures, and graphics. The new version is much clearer, with plenty of examples and diagrams to teach you how to play the game.

We have also added a host of new units, tweaked points values, and added a lot more special rules and equipment.

There’s also a background introduction for each of the factions:

    • Aufrechte Posen in Artworks sind sinnvoll, da man auf diese Weise jedes Detail darstellen kann. Es bringt gar nichts, wenn man auf einem Konzept-Artwork, das die Modelle skizzieren soll, eine verschachtelte Pose wählt, bei der die Hälfte des Modells irgendwie durch die Haltung verdeckt ist. Dann fragt man sich spter nämlich beim Modellieren dauernd, wie denn eigentlich Körperteil XY aussehen soll, weil es auf dem Artwork nicht zu sehen/perepsktivisch verzerrt ist.

    • Ich bin zwar unbeteiligt, was das angeht, aber ich glaube, in einer militärischen Ausbildung nennen die das „Haltung“.
