Icarus: Erstes 3D Render
Icarus Miniatures zeigen die ersten 3D Render für Icarus.
We’re excited to announce that our first 3D sculpt; Gabriel Cross, is now finished. We know that this is the moment you’ve all bee waiting for, to see whether our fantastic artwork would translate into fantastic miniatures. . .
And the answer is yes!
We are incredibly pleased with this sculpt, the artists at Prodos Games have done a phenomenal job! We chose to use Prodos’ sculpting services after being blown away by the quality of their Warzone and Alien Versus Predator pieces.
As you can see, the sculpt is very faithful to the concept art. The only real difference is the helmet. The original helmet front looked a bit too much like a duck beak, so we opted for something more similar to a Galactic Marine’s helmet.
Gabriel will come with two head options; helmet and no helmet:
We’re just waiting on the 3D print to arrive to make sure everything looks just as good in the flesh, and they it’ll be time to get some cast up for sale. Our current timeline for the release is the end of May, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated with pictures of the 3D print and cast minis in between then and now.
