Deadzone: Gussrahmen Previews
Mantic Games zeigen die Fortschritte bei den neuen Plastikgussrahmen.
As promised, we have something very cool to show off today – the first test sprues of the Veer-myn Nightcrawler sprue and the Enforcer Pathfinder sprue.
We have had two different sprues through for the Nightcrawlers. The first is a shot we were sent that highlights some of the initial problems when creating a plastic sprue. The gaps in this sprue, highlighted in red, aren’t pieces that have been clipped off – they are miscasts, they have not formed.
This is particularly telling in the barrel of the gun at the top of the sprue.
Since then we’ve spent time finessing it, as you can see in these pictures here:
Wie man sieht wurden die Probleme des ersten Testrahmens inzwischen behoben. Auch bei den Pathfinders gibt es noch einiges zu tun, vor allem in Bezug auf die DOG-Drohne:
Here is the test shot for the new Enforcer Pathfinder sprue.
This is also getting the same treatment as the Veer-myn sprue. Most of the pieces are great, but the two halves of the dogbot don’t quite fit together yet so we refining the pieces.
These are the two core sprues that you helped fund on the Kickstarter, and we hope that you really like them.
The Veer-myn sprue in particular will form the foundation of the race as a strike force in Deadzone, and a larger army in Warpath, whilst the Enforcer Pathfinders add to a faction that already boasts hard plastic Enforcer Troopers and Enforcer in Peacekeeper Armour. And that’s before we even get to the Shredders, the Jetbikes and the host of individual characters and cool specialists!
