The Buffel is a mine-protected infantry mobility vehicle used by the South African Army during the South African Border War. It was based on a Mercedes unimog chassis and was produced in several variants. We have done two… the standard Buffel and the flatbed transport version referred to as a „Moffel“.

Das Modell kostet 18,50$, im dreier Set 49,95$. Verschickt wird es ab dem 05. August.

  • Hi all

@Moppel… I actually did laugh out loud at that. Very good description.

The model is boxy but as @komment said, it is very close to the original. There is a short youtube clip here to see the real one (or just go to youtube and search for buffel… it is the first video)

This model is meant for modern wargames but I think if you painted it yellow and put „Weyland-Yutani“ on the side then it would look good

And of course, with the strange asymmetric look, it is good for orks too. 🙂

    • Thank you 😀 but I actually feel like a jerk because these trucks seem to excist in reality.
But seeing those early in the morning after I built some Sentinels last night heavily seemed like a sign to me 😀

  • I am talking to someone about distributing in Germany but this is taking some time, It is all my fault as I am going through a busy period with my „real“ work but it is something that I am very keen to do.

If and when this happens then Bridgehead will be the first to know 🙂
